New Year's Day

I am out of town and will be off air tomorrow New Year's Day. I wish you a smooth transition from 2008 to 2009~

Community Grooves radio guest/topic for Thurs 12/18

Tomorrow's scheduled guest will be a representative and a foster youth, from the Lane County Heart Gallery. Their mission is to find loving families for Oregon's foster children.

My niece, who signs with Classic Albums Live, will also join in by phone. They are preparing for a big New Year's eve performance at Hard Rock Live in Orlando.

Zimbabwean musician/activist on air Saturday

Thomas Mapfumo, Zimbabwean musician, political activist, and creator of Chimurenga music, will be a guest on the De Ampy Soul Hama show Saturday on KWVA. I will be co-hosting this segment with Shawn, sometime between 11:30am-12:30pm.
